Melrose and Fairfax Electric Box

It's been a while since my last update but here's a little something to tie you over until my next post.

I painted this box in the Melrose area a few months back.

DUCE Paints Live @ GOLDWELL Award Show

I was invited to paint live during the 2013 GOLWELL COLOR ZOOM AWARDS at the NOKIA theater in down town Los Angeles. I painted for an entire hour at the very beginning of the show and then came out again in the middle of a show to draw a dress on transparent plexy glass to crate the illusion that I was actually drawing the dress on the model that was standing  behind it. I will post those pictures later. A big thanks goes out to Kathleen and Kevin for bringing me on board for this project.

New Edward Sharpe Mural by: DUCE

Last Year I was asked to paint the Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros album cover on the left of the first picture at the bottom. One year later Edward sharp releases a new album and I got to paint their album cover again. The art work is located on Fairfax in between Melrose and Beverly across the street from Supreme skate shop.

It was a hot day of work but well worth it... in the end the matching pair of murals look great together.
