San Pedro Mural Concept Design

Ive been working for the last moth on this mural concept design that i am proposing to the city of San Pedro.  My idea is to convey the magic ocean life in San Pedro. Th mail focus of my painting is a beautiful young woman listening to the music of the ocean through the use of sea shells. her hair is being blown in the air and morphing into a wave. Two kids

Live Painting for Black Book Sessions

Just a quick paint session

I painted this quick collaboration with Dcypher in conjunction with Oakley. It was pretty rad they built a makeshift skatepark just for a month.

Downtown Skate Grill

This metal grill was a lot of fun to paint. The area of town however is very depressing. I was on fourth and Sanpedro in the heart of skid row surrounded by countless of homeless people... I wish I could have done something to help directly.

DUCE Paints Live @ GOLDWELL Award Show

I was invited to paint live during the 2013 GOLWELL COLOR ZOOM AWARDS at the NOKIA theater in down town Los Angeles. I painted for an entire hour at the very beginning of the show and then came out again in the middle of a show to draw a dress on transparent plexy glass to crate the illusion that I was actually drawing the dress on the model that was standing  behind it. I will post those pictures later. A big thanks goes out to Kathleen and Kevin for bringing me on board for this project.

Egyptian tomb Cox Farms

This was the last and final project I painted for Cox Farms. I really enjoyed my time hear. It is such an amazing and fascinating place. I would like to thank the Entire Cox family for flying me to Virginia and their hospitality. And a big thank you to Jennifer and Seana for their help in painting all of the artwork in one weeks time. I could not have done it with out them.

Cox Farms Monster Bus

Todays challenge was to convert this bus into a monster bus, Jenn  and I took up the challenge and by the looks of the monster gator I think we Monster-fied this bus.

DUCE goes to Virginia and paints Cox Farms Space Ship

I was asked to come to Virginia an paint an existing Space ship. The request to add a little flare to it and make it look more like a space ship. If this isn't a challenge then I don't know what is. I accepted and created these illustrations based on some pictures I was sent.

This weekend I got together with my brothers from THE ROCK THE NATION CREW and took over  the Slauson Yard once again under the mighty RTN. We will be restoring this yard back to its glory with nothing but burners!

TRON ONE REST IN PEACE

TRON was a child hood friend of mine who was writing graffiti and exploring the city before I ever did. I remembered that he had some of the dopes  hand styles in the late 80's. He became the 5th member to join the GAW CREW. He was a very positive individual that was caring giving and had a golden heart. Rest In Peace my dear friend... Your name will not be forgotten I will make sure of it!
