Downtown Skate Grill

This metal grill was a lot of fun to paint. The area of town however is very depressing. I was on fourth and Sanpedro in the heart of skid row surrounded by countless of homeless people... I wish I could have done something to help directly.

Painting, drawing, brainstorming

This week I was commissioned by and old friend to paint a graffiti style canvas for their little boy. after a few sketches this is what we decided on. This traditional bubble style with a chrome fill looks simple but difficult to execute on this size canvas. I had a lot of fun painting it and my friend Tanner and her Partner where really happy with it.
Its not everyday that I get request to paint someones shirt on the spot while they are still wearing it. There was no way I was going to say no.
My signature camera on a young friends canvas. Thank you for the opportunity.
Sketching is a daily ritual for me. It keeps the ideas flowing. And if you are familiar with my work you know my point of views are obvious.

BACK On THE THRONE

Its been a labor of love... I had to go back a few times due to rain:(
I think I have to change the color of the
robe to purple cause this character is
looking more like Santa Clause and less like
 Royalty:/.

This just made so much sense...
THE IDEA KING.
